The main roads connecting the Air Force Station to Lal Bungalow Circle have been illuminated with elaborate lighting displays, while several important junctions and heritage locations have been decorated to mark the occasion. Officials and local civic bodies have coordinated beautification work across major areas of the city in anticipation of the high-profile visit.
Major Landmarks Illuminated Across the City
Several prominent locations in Jamnagar, including Darbargadh, DKV College, Bedi Naka, Pavan Chakki, Annapurna Circle, and Mahakali Circle, have been specially decorated with colorful lights and themed installations. One of the key attractions of the event will be a live folk performance by renowned Gujarati folk singer and storyteller Kirti Dan Gadhvi. Known for his performances rooted in Gujarati folk traditions and devotional music, Gadhvi’s participation is expected to draw significant public interest.
The cultural lineup will also feature traditional folk dances from the Saurashtra region, including Hudo Raas, Maniyaro Raas, and the energetic Sidi Dhamal performance. Various local folk groups and artists are expected to participate in the celebrations, reflecting the region’s cultural heritage.
Officials said additional performances by other noted artists from Gujarat are also planned as part of the evening event.
